But is it real?

These days, you can’t say nothing real without being labelled a hater, jealous or judgemental.

I had a conversation with someone who promotes “self love” but was wanting plastic surgery because she didnt like the way her nose was.

If you know me, I am always encouraging women around me to embrace what they have and not to allow what society says is beautiful effect the way they see themselves and I will tell you what I really feel if you’re asking me for advice.

Now, all I said was – “how you going to promote self love when you don’t even love yourself?”

She got really upset with me and said that I sound like those haters and I’m just being judgemental.
And that I “don’t understand”.

Now maybe she’s right? But I really feel that’s a valid question?

It’s easy to tell people to love themself when you’ve got fake boobs, fake butt etc but what message are you sending our younger generations?

Are we moulding ourselves to become these perfect looking beings while we’re wasting away and broken on the inside?

I’m tired of seeing the same look on social media.

Everybody looking like clones.
Everybody wanting to look the same.

Afraid of being different from the crowd.
Ashamed of having no likes or comments saying how hot or beautiful they are.

It’s a sham.
It ain’t real.

And I know people will hate me for this but I’m not going to encourage cutting up your temples to be worshiped by others.

Trust me when I say, cutting your nose up won’t fix the real issue.

You will keep finding things that you hate about yourself and keep cutting up or changing the way you look until you’re a totally different person to who God intended you to be then you’ll realise, it’s too late to go back.

You gotta find the root to these weeds killing your growth sisters!

You have to appreciate what you have and acknowledge that you don’t have to be everything to everyone else, you just have to mean something to yourself and have enough confidence to know that you were fearfully and wonderfully made.

Bless up❤

Fabricated Faith.

If you’re only praying for material things, then you must only have fabricated faith.

The more I read about Jesus, the more I admire His faith.

You not only get a lesson of how to pray, but you also will notice what He didn’t pray for.

Not once did He ask for a house or a donkey to get around on, but He did ask for DAILY bread, the daily essentials.

He didn’t pray for a better tomorrow, or dwell over yesterday.

He knew His Father will provide what He needed day by day, but the prayer was important to communicate with God and to build that relationship with His Father.

We praise Him, give thanks and ask for forgiveness for ourselves and for others.

I’ve been learning to pray for what He wants me to do with my life, while asking Him to remove anything that isn’t from Him, even if it hurts me but to give me the strength and the courage to handle whatever the outcome.

Praying is like exercising.

We need it in our lives to help sustain our health mentally, physically and emotionally.

She’s humble, yet hungry.

Just cause you humble, doesn’t mean you have to be quiet.

Speak up when it matters.
Apologize when your wrong.

Strength isn’t shown in being loud and proud, or using violence or manipulation to scare people, it’s shown in the willingness to lose everything for the things or people you love.

Not being afraid to stand alone for your faith and belief in God.

You don’t have to conform to transform, you only need to believe and receive the good news and live by it to start seeing the true purpose of your life.

Be humble, but don’t sit down😉
Stand up, and stay hungry💪

Security.

Walking towards a couple at the supermarket today and as I got closer, the lady grabbed her man’s hand then looked at me😏😣

Like sis, can you not see my 100 kids and my trolley is full of nappies, wipes, 34 pack of toilet paper and school lunch?? 😂 relax!

Ladies, not every girl you come across, wants your man!

We all got different taste.

Say you like apples and I like oranges.

Whether the apple is in a pie, a juice or a fruit salad, I still won’t like apples.

And you shouldn’t have to hold your man’s hand for me to know he’s taken.

His actions should speak for themselves.

We are often left feeling insecure when we’ve been cheated on, mistreated and lied to.

Times where our trust and heart has been broken.

I get it sis, I been there.

But when you stop putting your value into the hands of a man, and allowing God to heal your heart, you’ll find so much security in your life, and the presence of another woman in your man’s life, becomes his problem, not yours.

Stop carrying unnecessary thoughts and thinking of scenarios that don’t exist.

Any time you feel threatened, unworthy or insecure, remember your worth in the eye’s of God, you were so precious to Him that He gave His one and only Son so that you would not perish but have eternal life.

So if your man fails, let your faith prevail❤🙏

Keep the past, in the past.

Person: Did you know she had a baby at 16 and use to be in the club’s every weekend and now she’s all of a sudden about Jesus? *scoffs*

Me: Did you know that I had a baby at 17 and use to be in the club’s Monday to Saturday and now “all of a sudden” about Jesus too? *smirks*

People please, don’t judge the walk of your brothers and sisters.

What are you hoping to achieve by telling others about someone’s past?

Use your time to build each other up and encourage their change for Christ.

The things I share on here, are not coming from a place of judgement, or speaking from a pedestal, thinking I’m better than you.

It’s coming from a place of understanding, and speaking from experience, on a platform knowing you can do better than that!

Don’t come to me thinking I enjoy speaking bad about others for no season sis, cause that’s not how I roll✌

Fight with Faith, not with fist.

The fear of the Lord, has left some of our churches.

The respect of the Sabbath is no more, and it is slowly being blended in as just another day.

Our tongues are sharper than our faith, our hearts harder than our struggles.

Instead of drawing others closer to Christ, we’re driving them further into a crisis.
So much pride, hate and jealousy filling the pews of the church, where is the love, compassion and forgiveness?

Church isn’t about showing our face for others, it’s about sharing and strengthening our faith in Christ. It’s about carrying our burdens to the cross, not carrying out our grudges with one another.

Let’s band together and lift our hands up for the Lord, not raise our hands against eachother.

Fight the good fight with faith, not the fist fight with flesh.

Some goals can be small, but still have a big impact on your life.

Goals like keeping your house and your heart clean seems easy, but it’s something that needs constant work and a lot of attention.

You can clean your house in the morning, and by night it’s a mess. Same goes with your heart.

Whether you choose to make that goal a priority or not, it will show in other aspects of your life.

So you have a choice to either keep your heart and your home warm and filled with love and light, or keep it cold leaving it dark and empty.

Fix it Jesus.

All week this message has been playing in my heart:

“Stop trying to fix, what God is trying to mould”

For awhile now, I’ve been struggling and stressing about a loved one who has really been going through it, and no matter how much I pray or reach out and give advice, I still wasn’t at peace with the outcome.

I wasn’t able to control or fix this situation, and it was actually getting worse.

None of my advice was working, God wasn’t answering my prayers for this situation, and I wasn’t functioning mentally because of it.

Until I stepped back and remembered, that I too went through similar seasons in my youth.

It then brought me to the realisation that, had I not been through the dark times back then, I wouldn’t have turned to God the way I have now.

Meaning, maybe I need to stop trying to play God and let “Jesus fix it”.

I need to remove myself from the situation and give it to God!

You see, sometimes we want to help fix others problems and issues so bad, that we end up creating issues and problems for ourselves, because it wasn’t our business to fix in the first place.

I know this is long, but I really felt like there was someone out there going through something similar that needed this and I couldn’t sleep until I got it out of my mind (1:38am) 😅 haha

Sometimes we don’t always have to step up, sometimes we just got to step back and let God do His thang🙏

The woman behind the quotes.

Behind all the quotes I share, is a woman who is actually trying to build a real life connection with God.

A woman who is actually trying to get to a stage where she is using each breath in her being, every minute of her day to ask, talk or tell someone about Jesus Christ.

A woman who many wouldn’t recognize anymore, not because her face has changed, but because of the faith she’s gained.

The strength of known that all the stories of shame and guilt from her past, has brought her to a point in her life, where she is now able to share it with pleasure and joy knowing that someone can or will benefit from what once was her pain or her poison.

That God doesn’t just allow unnecessary pain to happen to us. It’s either a lesson for us or for someone else.

It gives her peace knowing that everything that happens to her, good or bad, isn’t always just about her.

She’s learnt that humility always wins in the eyes of her creator.

She is a completely different person, yet her goal in life still hasn’t changed and that’s to make it to heaven, or die trying.

And that woman, is me.

Purpose.

I asked myself : “What’s the purpose of my page? what makes it better than the rest?”

I answered : “Who said I was trying to be better than the rest? Why can’t we all be the best?

Why does everything in life have to be a game, where there are winners and losers?

I’m all about elevation, celebration and salvation.

My purpose is to kill satan’s lies and hate with God’s truth and love. I don’t care about likes and follows. I care that someone believes in being saved by the grace of God and smiling at the words of my post, without me trying to do the most.

I want to be the voice of the unheard, the overlooked, the unappreciated.

I want to create a space for Christian women to uplift eachother and share the amazing things God is doing in their lives.

That is my truth, my whole truth and nothing but the truth 🌻
