Have you ever had someone follow you, then unfollow you then follow you again?
How many of you would find that frustrating?
How many of you would give them another chance to follow you again?
How many of you would go as far as blocking them and having nothing to do with them?
Could you imagine someone that would continue to love you no matter how many times you unfollow them?
No matter how many times you block them from reaching out to you, how many request you send, they keep accepting you?
How many of us have followed, then unfollowed, then followed Jesus again?
Has He ever blocked you?
Has He ever gave you another chance?
Has He ever wanted nothing to do with you?
I want to leave this verse with you all as we head into the weekend:
“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” – Colossians 3:13
I really needed this verse and wanted to share it as a reminder for us all, that we are to be the example, not the exception.
Stay blessed, much love❤️🙏
Stop bending over backwards for guys that can’t be upfront with you.
Don’t drop everything in a heartbeat for a guy that won’t lift you up in a heartbreak.
Why you tripping over a guy whose chasing other girls?
You don’t need to get into his bed, to get ahead.
Don’t leave a good man for a guy that wants a “bad bitch”.
I’m tired of seeing women being disrespected and unappreciated by some men.
No amount of years in a relationship is worth your tears. No amount of sex is worth the pain. No amount of money is worth your dignity. No amount of man is worth your woman!
We deserve to be loved right, we deserve to be held tight. We deserve someone to be there for us in the day and through the night.
Don’t waste your time questioning is he worth all the pain and shame he’s putting you through.
Naaaaw sis, are YOU worth all the pain and shame he’s putting you through!
Stop sitting on the fence of self doubt and start standing up on the roof of self love!
We are worth it ✊
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” – Romans 12:2.
When I first started this journey, I was nervous about sharing God’s word and the work He has done in my life. I don’t know the bible off by heart or even considered intelligent to my peers, all I know is what God has done for me and my life experiences. So I have my days where I feel unworthy, I sometimes worry about what has been said about me or how others perceive me, but the more I get to know Jesus and read the bible, I realize it’s not about pleasing others, it’s not even about me. It’s about God’s will and what He has planned for my life.
For awhile now I’ve been trying to get into a habit of starting and ending my days with Christ. It doesn’t always happen and every day isn’t perfect, but every day is a chance to progress and start over. So I like to start my mornings with a prayer, I try to read scriptures in my down time, watch sermons and podcast online before I go to bed and end my day with a prayer.
I can’t tell you how much my life has changed since I’ve started devoting my thoughts and time on Jesus and His promise! He has lifted a lot of burdens and guilt I carried around with shame and worry for so long, things that were holding me back from reaching my true potential, being the best version of myself. I’m so happy to say that God is faithful and true. I’m not loving him because my life is perfect, but because his love is perfect. It’s real and He’s real. Everybody’s saying God is dead yet my spirits being fed, my soul is being nourished and my heart is being blessed.
I’m not worried about the non- believers and the haters, I’m here to share the work God is doing in my life and with my life. I want to inspire others to start their own journeys and to slowly make steps to making Christianity, their reality.
