Have you ever had someone follow you, then unfollow you then follow you again?
How many of you would find that frustrating?
How many of you would give them another chance to follow you again?
How many of you would go as far as blocking them and having nothing to do with them?
Could you imagine someone that would continue to love you no matter how many times you unfollow them?
No matter how many times you block them from reaching out to you, how many request you send, they keep accepting you?
How many of us have followed, then unfollowed, then followed Jesus again?
Has He ever blocked you?
Has He ever gave you another chance?
Has He ever wanted nothing to do with you?
I want to leave this verse with you all as we head into the weekend:
“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” – Colossians 3:13
I really needed this verse and wanted to share it as a reminder for us all, that we are to be the example, not the exception.
Stay blessed, much love❤️🙏
Behind all the quotes I share, is a woman who is actually trying to build a real life connection with God.
A woman who is actually trying to get to a stage where she is using each breath in her being, every minute of her day to ask, talk or tell someone about Jesus Christ.
A woman who many wouldn’t recognize anymore, not because her face has changed, but because of the faith she’s gained.
The strength of known that all the stories of shame and guilt from her past, has brought her to a point in her life, where she is now able to share it with pleasure and joy knowing that someone can or will benefit from what once was her pain or her poison.
That God doesn’t just allow unnecessary pain to happen to us. It’s either a lesson for us or for someone else.
It gives her peace knowing that everything that happens to her, good or bad, isn’t always just about her.
She’s learnt that humility always wins in the eyes of her creator.
She is a completely different person, yet her goal in life still hasn’t changed and that’s to make it to heaven, or die trying.
And that woman, is me.
No matter what!
Any time you feel like giving up, remember that you have a family of believers throughout the world who are undergoing the same kind of sufferings and trials.
That’s why it is so important to surround yourself with believers and receivers of the true gospel.
Women who nurture and love the truth, women that are willing to use their strength to lift you up in prayer when your burdens weigh heavy on your heart.
While the devil is preying on you, your sisters are praying for you.
Even when nothing changes for awhile, know that God is working on a plan to make you smile😊😚
Keep your faith up sis, God’s got you✊💯❤
Yesterday I was feeling really unworthy of sharing my journey and God’s word after feeling overwhelmed with my daily struggles as a mother and also reading and hearing others negative opinions of my blog.
Although I’m not usually one to care about what people think of me, some times their words can weigh heavy on my mind and sit still on my conscience.
So while having these thoughts of giving up on my blog and deleting my page yesterday, I opened up my bible today, and this fell out.
Some times I pray for things that I want, but they’re not necessarily what I need.
Some times my prayers are automatic and memorized and not meaningful and alive.
This woke me up today!
I dropped this bookmark but this bookmark picked me up!!!
And to those negative people out there, thank you for bringing me to this point of my journey, God bless ❤🙏
As you progress in your life, don’t forget to reflect on your actions.
Don’t forget the actions of those around you that helped you progress.
Don’t forget the sacrifice of your loved ones in your life that have helped you along the way, including Jesus.
Never forget the people that opened their hearts to help raise you and the hands that helped lift you up in prayer.
I wrote this after watching an elderly lady struggling to push her shopping cart to the supermarket on her own and it got me thinking about my nena.
While some take their parents and grandparents for granted, others are praying they still had theirs around.
Don’t forget to check in on them, even if it’s just a phone call.
As we get older, so do they.
Every day with them is a blessing so make every day with them count!
I asked myself : “What’s the purpose of my page? what makes it better than the rest?”
I answered : “Who said I was trying to be better than the rest? Why can’t we all be the best?
Why does everything in life have to be a game, where there are winners and losers?
I’m all about elevation, celebration and salvation.
My purpose is to kill satan’s lies and hate with God’s truth and love. I don’t care about likes and follows. I care that someone believes in being saved by the grace of God and smiling at the words of my post, without me trying to do the most.
I want to be the voice of the unheard, the overlooked, the unappreciated.
I want to create a space for Christian women to uplift eachother and share the amazing things God is doing in their lives.
That is my truth, my whole truth and nothing but the truth 🌻
For my mama:
Her beauty isn’t one that needs to blend in, nor does it need to stand out. It’s a beauty that she needs to believe, one that she never wants to doubt. A beauty that can’t be seen with your eyes, but can be felt in your soul. A beauty that doesn’t need confirmation or approval, for her to feel whole. Self love is the essence, wrapped in confidence and strength, and God is her focus, from the first commandment, to the tenth. So if you ever come across a beauty so courageous and so rare, know that she is more valuable than any diamond that you will ever come to wear.

You can wear a cross around your neck, have a bible verse as your bio on social media and carry a bible in your bag everywhere you go and still have a bad spirit.
Just because you got all the right gears on to play basketball, doesn’t mean you have the right skills to play.
Everything isn’t always what it seems.
Stop judging Christians who drink and smoke or have tattoos or anyone who doesn’t worship like you.
God see’s their intentions, and He can also see yours.
We all have different versions of success.
You can’t tell me that I’m not successful because I haven’t completed the list of things that makes someone successful in your eyes.
I don’t need to put anyone down to get to the top, cause I’m not trying to head that way.
I’m not the kind of person that wants to be above anyone, or on top of the world.
God knows my heart.
I just want to help anyone that is struggling alone, hurting inside, experienced pain like me, shame like me, been played on like games like me.
Happiness and success means something different to everyone.
Money isn’t success to me.
Big house or heaps of cars is not success to me.
If you have it all and keep it all to yourself, that is not success to me.
Greed is killing our world.
Hate is burning our love and judgement is bruising our peace.
Jesus is my focus, heaven is my goal ❤
