Social Media

One thing I hate about social media, is that it creates space for assumptions to grow.

These days, people have allowed their Facebook and Instagram to be the “all or nothing at all” of their life, destroying real life relationships just because of likes, follows and comments.

For example. – If I haven’t liked someone’s post for awhile, I must have a problem with them, I don’t like them, I’m a hater or just jealous.

Or

If someone doesn’t post about their partner for awhile, they’ve broken up or if they never post about their relationship, they don’t love eachother or they’re not happy lol

Just because they don’t post about it, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

Just remember that not everyone cares about social media or even has the time to check it every day.

Believe it or not, there are still people out here that want to stay in touch with family and friends without sharing every little piece of their heart on their timeline.

If you are not sure about something, ask them.

Don’t assume or accuse people of something you didn’t hear from their mouth. It will save you and others from having unnecessary drama.
